A new study suggests that some men who take the pill will be able to get erectile dysfunction treatments such as Viagra over the counter.
The new study, led by the NHS England, was presented at the annual meeting of the American College of Physicians in San Francisco on July 8th, 2023.

Dr. Michael Dabney, a clinical associate professor of endocrinology and medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, said he and his team are looking for a group of men who will be able to achieve and maintain erections in the form of pills.
"We have already found men who have erectile dysfunction using a pill to achieve erections and have a history of erectile dysfunction. We don't know enough about whether a pill is the most effective way to treat erectile dysfunction in the group," Dr. Dabney said.
The researchers compared the effects of these men who had ED to those who did not.
"There were no significant differences in efficacy between the three groups. It is possible that the two groups of men were able to achieve and maintain erections without taking any medication, which is why we want to have a better understanding of these men," Dr.
